Pro-League Program Details

Experience the thrill of competitive flag football with our Pro-League, designed for teams that want to stay together and play at a higher level. The Pro-League aims to create a travel-like environment where teams can develop their skills and compete in an exciting and challenging setting.

Program Overview

The Pro-League offers a more competitive experience for teams looking to maintain their rosters without random assignments. Coaches are encouraged to bring their entire team, fostering a cohesive and competitive atmosphere. This league is perfect for those seeking a structured and travel-style approach to flag football.
***NOTE *** - Individual participants looking to join our league should join our REC-LEAGUE.  This program is for pre-determined teams / coaches only.

Key Features

  • Age Groups: Divided based on age as of January 1, 2025:

    • 8 and Under (8U)
    • 10 and Under (10U)
    • 12 and Under (12U)
    • 14 and Under (14U - under consideration)

  • Season Structure: The Pro-League operates on an eight-week schedule:

    • 7 weeks of regular season games: Competitive matchups to prepare for the postseason.
    • 1 week of playoffs: A single-elimination tournament to crown the league champions.
    • Championship Weekend: All teams will compete during Superbowl Weekend on March 1st and 2nd.

Registration Information

Uniform and Equipment Requirements

  • Jerseys: Teams are responsible for providing their own jerseys, purchasing custom options from our supplier (Sharp Athletics), or buying stock Louisiana Flag Football uniforms.
  • Included: Flag belts and team footballs are provided.
  • Required: Mouthpieces must be worn during all games.
  • Recommended: Cleats and padded headgear for extra protection.

Game and Practice Details

  • Game Days: Wednesday afternoons, from January 15th to February 26th.
  • Superbowl Weekend: The season concludes with championship games on Saturday, March 1st and Sunday, March 2nd.
  • Location: Games will be held at the Thibodaux Regional Sports Complex.
  • Practice Schedule: Teams can begin practicing once registered. The game schedule will be released one week after the registration deadline.

Coaching and Team Guidelines

  • Team Formation: Coaches can bring their entire roster to maintain team continuity.
  • Conduct Policies: Coaches must adhere to league rules and regulations, ensuring a positive and competitive environment.
  • Team Communication: Coaches are responsible for organizing practices, communicating schedules, and distributing equipment and uniforms.

League Format and Rules

  • Competition Level: The Pro-League is structured to create a travel-like environment, simulating tournament-style experiences.
  • Seeding: Based on regular season performance, determining playoff matchups.
