Empowering young athletes through flag football, our All-Girls League provides a supportive and inclusive environment for girls to enjoy the sport. The All-Girls League is exclusively for girls and offers a unique opportunity to play flag football alongside peers. Designed to create an empowering environment, the league emphasizes skill development, athleticism, and sportsmanship, ensuring every player has the chance to shine on the field.

Key Features

  • Age Groups: Divided into two categories based on age as of March 2, 2025:
    • 9 and Under (9U): Ages 7-9
    • 12 and Under (12U): Ages 10-12
  • Season Structure: The All-Girls League follows an eight-week schedule:
    • 7 weeks of regular season games: Held on Saturday mornings, from January 11th to February 22nd.
    • 1 week of playoffs: All teams participate in a single-elimination tournament during Superbowl Weekend on March 1st and 2nd.
  • Mission: Providing girls in South Louisiana the opportunity to experience flag football in a safe and empowering setting.

Registration Information

Game and Practice Details

  • Game Days: Saturday mornings at the Thibodaux Regional Sports Complex.
  • Practice Schedule: Practices will be determined by individual team coaches and communicated to parents once teams are assigned.
  • Superbowl Weekend: Championship games and playoff matchups will be held on March 1st and 2nd.

Uniform and Equipment

  • Included with Registration: Jerseys, flag belts, and team footballs.
  • Required: Mouthpieces are mandatory for all players.
  • Recommended: Cleats for better traction and safety, with padded headgear suggested for extra protection.
