Welcome to the 2025 Spring Season of Louisiana Flag Football! We’re excited to have your family join us for another season filled with fun, development, and competition. This page provides all the key information you need to stay informed and prepared.

Team Assignments & Coach Communication
Following our coaches' meeting on Sunday, March 9th, all rosters have been finalized and distributed. Coaches are currently reaching out to families with practice schedules and additional details. If you haven’t heard from your coach yet, please inform us so we can help you coordinate.

Opening Night Update
Due to a scheduling conflict at the Nicholls Wellness Center, our originally planned Opening Night on Wednesday, March 26th has been moved to Friday, March 28th. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we work to provide the best experience possible.

GAME LOCATIONS BY AGE DIVISION
Spring Season (Houma-Thibodaux Only)

With over 520 players registered this season, we’ve expanded our field usage to keep games efficient and enjoyable. Game locations are divided as follows:

• 6U & 8U Divisions – Nicholls State University Football Stadium
• 10U & 12U Divisions – Thibodaux Regional Sports Complex

This setup ensures every age group has the space and environment needed to succeed on game nights.

ADMISSION POLICY

Louisiana Flag Football operates with a cash-only admission policy at all game locations:

• Adults: $5 entry
• Kids 12 & Under: Free
• Head Coaches & One Assistant per Team: Free (must check in at the gate)

SPRING SEASON GAME DATES

• Opening Night: Friday, March 28th
• Regular Season Games (Wednesdays):
  April 2nd, April 9th, April 23rd, April 30th, May 7th, May 14th, May 21st
• No Games: April 16th (week before Easter)
• Championship Weekend:
  Saturday, May 24th (All-Day Event)
  Sunday, May 25th (Noon – 9:00 PM)

SCHEDULES, STANDINGS & TEAM ACCESS – TEAMLINKT APP

We use TeamLinkt to manage teams and communication throughout the season.

All registered parents should check their email (linked to your registration) for an invitation from TeamLinkt. This email will allow you to join your child’s team in the app.

If you haven’t received it, check your spam folder or reach out to us directly.

Once you’ve joined your team, the app gives you access to:

• Your team’s full game schedule
• Live standings
• Roster information
• Team chat and updates
• Game reminders
• And more

All coaches, players, and parents are expected to familiarize themselves with league rules to help ensure a fair and safe playing environment for everyone.

WEATHER & CANCELLATION POLICY

If inclement weather or field conditions require a game to be delayed or canceled, updates will be sent via the TeamLinkt app and posted on our Facebook page. We make every effort to play games as scheduled, but player safety is our top priority.

PARENT EXPECTATIONS

We ask all spectators to:

• Cheer positively (no yelling at referees or opposing teams)
• Encourage good sportsmanship
• Respect all volunteers, coaches, and league staff

Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming environment for all families.

PARENT & COACH RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coaches will reach out with practice schedules, game times, and team information.
• Parents should ensure their contact information is up to date and that they’ve joined their team on the TeamLinkt app.
• Volunteers Needed: We welcome parent help for scoreboard operation and other simple game-day tasks.
